T O P I C R E V I E WPietra di LunaI wonder whats the truth about the statement that Aquarians are afraid of commitments and dont want to get married even if they are in love with someone. And if it is like that, what make you, Aquarians, to be like that? :-)bambamI have my Moon and Saturn in Aquarius and I agree and disagree. The Saturn is in my 7th house so I seek responsible stable lasting relationships but once I'm actually in one I feel like I've been put in a cage and dropped 20 feet below the ground. Might sound like an over exaggeration to some but other Aquarians might agree. I like to keep it light and stimulating in relationships with those of the opposite sex. I'm not sure why I feel such a burden when I am in the prospects or actually in a relationship. I guess the thought of responsibility to a boyfriend scares the living **** out of me because I value my freedom so very much (Sun trine Uranus). However, I do seek lasting relationships, the problem is, when I'm about to get one I freak out.Aquacheeka quote:Originally posted by bambam:I have my Moon and Saturn in Aquarius and I agree and disagree. Heavily 7th-house influenced, I prefer to be partnered, but the thought of actually getting married - no.Cleaning up someone's s*** for the rest of my life with no escape (I don't believe in divorce)? No thanks.Maybe after 20 years of blissful partnership where I could be absolutely certain what I am getting myself into would I consider it.AquacheekaI also have very mixed feelings about monogamy.I mean, I need a heavy fifth-house element to my relationships, and in my experience, men in long-term relationships take you for granted and treat you more like sixth-house after awhile (servant/helpmate) or 11th-house (best friend, companion) than a passionate lover and shower you with affection.ail221Such a influx of questions about aquarius O___ostarmoonmy bf is 46 and a never married aqua...frankie2912Well, the first love of my life was an Aquarius and he just got married. He is a very religious Christian, though, so he was the type to "wait til marriage" and take relationships very seriously. He has Venus & Mars in Pisces, I'm sure that changes things.I dated a Pisces with Venus & Mars in Aquarius and it was a totally different story. He was the last love of my life and he hurt me BAD. He just couldn't handle commitment. As soon as we put the girlfriend/boyfriend label on our relationship, he ran. Things were just fine before that, but as soon as the thought of commitment and all that got into his head..he couldn't handle it anymore. My best male friend is an Aquarius sun and he just told me the other day how he has been in relationships ever since he was 12! He has only been with 4 women, all in serious relationships, and the woman is he currently married to has been with him for 12 years! So I think Aquarian energy does shy away from relationships and marriage but I think it has more to do with Venus, Mars, or Moon in Aquarius rather than Sun in Aquarius.aquaguy91aqua sun, ascendant, and venus here, not at all.i just need space sometimes.LonakeI had to break up with an Aquarius because he kept pushing marriage;so there are exceptions to the rule.Lava FlowerAquas have an easier time committing to Leo risings. 12thhouserlol okay... guess I'll chime in with a little disagreement here. I'm not really afraid of relationships or marriage. I think the trouble arises with people's transition from one to the other. Singles might view relationships (even marriage) as suffocating. Those in relationships might view the single crowd as afraid of commitment. As an Aquarian, I just ask for some emotional room sometimes. I like it (prefer it, actually) when a woman "gets me" to the degree (no pun intended) where she can give me emotional room to breathe when she recognizes I need it. I have Venus conjunct Jupiter in Pisces right on my ascendant line, so I still love, even crave, plenty of warmth and affection. I love to snuggle! I would give my wife the emotional space she desires when she needs it, but also be available when she wants, even needs, her husband's attentiveness.Hope that answers to your satisfaction.
